The 2008 Regional Innovation Festival (iFestival)
The second region-wide Innovation Festival (iFestival) will take place across the East Midlands between March 7th and April 18th this year.
Combining over 200 events, supported by over 80 regional partners and stakeholders and engaging with thousands of East Midlands businesses and residents, the 2008 iFestival will build upon the success of 2007, raising the profile of the region. This celebration of innovation hopes to achieve inspiration for all who work, study and live in the East Midlands.
Coinciding with the start of National Science and Engineering Week, the 2008 iFestival will encompass an inclusive programme of events, designed to help foster a culture of innovation in the region with activity targeted at young people, businesses, communities and organisations supporting or involved within an innovation environment.
Supported by East Midlands Innovation (the regional Science and Industry Council) and East Midlands Development Agency (emda), the 2007 iFestival was the largest collective celebration of innovation the region has seen. With your support we hope that 2008 will be even bigger and better
